The Tarot
Tarot is a symtem of cards that are used in divination. Within tarot I can see somones past present and future. Your probably asking how can a set of cards tell you so much about a person. To that I have no answer but the tarot is different for everyone. I bought my first deck two years ago just to seee what it was about but know I just seem to have a knack for it. I have friends come up and ask me for tarot readings all the time. The thing I try to avoid is reading tarot for myself I just think it violates somthing reading into yourself can be a traumatic thing. If you just want to see what tarot it about go to a local bookstore and look in the metaphysical/new age section and there is bound to be a book on the tarot there. You might even try your local libary you would be suprised at what you might find there if you just took a look. The tarot seems to be a person to person thing some find it incredably easy to use and understand while others find it pereplexing and tiresom to try to understand the arcane message they are being given.
How does the tarot work exactly ??
The tarot is made up of 78 cards. 22 Major Acarna (( The ones with people on them or they are not a member of a suit )) and the rest are minor arcana. I like to use only major arcana in my readings but you can use both minor and major in your readings. I place the cards face down in a celtic cross. The celtic cross form is the first one is placed down and another is place sideways on top of it. Then I place 4 more cards one to the north, one to the east, one to the south, and then one to the west. Then I place 4 more cards to the side of the cross. Each card in the cross represents a part of the question and what the true answers are. It may seem very complicated but in truth I find is very very simple it just takes a little bit of time to learn.
